Maine Ranks Low In Weekly Church Attendance

The annual Gallup 'State of the States' series which reveals state-by-state differences on political, economic, religion and well-being measures, showed that Maine residents are near the bottom of the list concerning weekly church attendance.

Maine tied New Hampshire for 49th with only 20% in the survey saying they attend a weekly church service. Vermont came in last at 17%.
