Sometimes, it is hard to believe that we are in the later part of spring.

The start of summer is just three weeks away but, because of the rain and cooler weather, it doesn't really feel like spring.  I brought up the fact that it was almost June to my daughter, and she found it hard to believe that she only had a few weeks of school left this year.

Well, that is about to change!  Central Maine will get its first taste of summer weather this coming week.

According to Weather.com, Monday will be cool and there will be a chance of rain.

Things change quite a bit on Tuesday, though.  It'll be sunny with a high in the upper 70s.

On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a slim chance of showers or thunderstorms, but the temperature for both days will be steamy.  Both Wednesday and Thursday will see highs in the upper 80s.  There is a chance that we could even hit the low 90s that day.

Unfortunately, it looks like there is a good chance that next weekend will be another rainy one.
