Most Mainers At Popular Lewiston Restaurant Think Mike Michaud’s Sexuality Is A Non-Issue

Most of the customers at Simones' Hot Dog Stand in Lewiston, a popular campaign stop for Maine politicians, thought the announcement ofU.S. Representative Mike Michaud being gay isn't really much news.The owners of Simones', a family owned business for 105 years, Jimmy and Linda Simones, say that Michaud stops into the restaurant about once a month. Linda, tells the Lewiston Sun Journal, that 'we love for who he is and always have.' Her husband Jimmy, says that the customers aren't talking about the issue much at all.
