Much Needed Rain For Central Maine
Starting the weekend with rain is usually met with the usual groans. Not so much for central and coastal Maine. The state has been starved for rain this summer, but relief is on the way.
According to the US Drought Monitor, the entire eastern half of the state is in a desperate need of H2O. The Portland Jetport is also reporting totals much lower than normal for this summer.
