According to News Center Maine, the Maine Warden Service plans to hire several new officers before their recruiting ends in July.

Duties include: enforcing fishing and hunting laws, enforcing laws pertaining to ATVs and snowmobiles, performing search and rescue operations, and more.

To be eligible an applicant must be at least 21 years old, must not have an extensive criminal record, must have (or be willing to get) a class C license, and be willing to relocate anywhere in the state.

No word on what the starting pay is, but according to Game Warden, the median pay for a Maine warden is over $45,000.
