Police Investigating Homicide In Augusta, Maine

According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety, the suspicious death that law enforcement investigated on Friday has been determined to be a homicide.
The press release explains that the victim, 34 year old Tyler Robinson, of Augusta, was found along the side of the road by a passing motorist. There were attempts to revive Mr. Robinson, but those attempts were unsuccessful.
Investigators for the Augusta Police Department and Maine State Police are asking anyone driving through the area between the hours of 9:30 and 10:00 PM who may have seen people running in the roadway to please call Maine State Police at 207.624.7076

According to the KJ, several law enforcement agencies are investigating a suspicious death in Augusta.
The article explains that police were dispatched to Old Belgrade Road at about 10 PM on Friday night.
Several officers went to the scene. Some of those officers stayed through the night, not leaving until early Saturday morning.
The case was later turned over to the Maine State Police.
The identity of the deceased person has not yet been announced. There has been no indication given as to the cause / manner of death. The investigation into the case continues.
