Rare Footage of Elvis Presley at the Augusta Civic Center

I cannot believe I never saw this, the live performance of Elvis Presley when he appeared at the Augusta Civic Center on May 24, 1977. The concert is a bit fuzzy ( it was shot on a 8MM camera) but this is very rare footage.

Today, March 24 is the day Elvis entered the U.S. Army.

Elvis’s last concert on the tour was at Madison Square Garden on June 26, 1977. It wasn’t long after that he passed away on August 16, 1977. Again, the video is grainy but you can get the idea of how excited the crowd was to have ‘The King’ in town.
