This morning in our "Reason To Smile" feature during 'Buzz & Brittany In The Morning' we profiled a growing trend we've heard about called "Little Free Pantries" springing up all over the country.

In it's simplest form, it's a spot to "Take what you need, leave what you can."

Towns, neighborhoods, even individual homes, people are being called and are building these miniature food pantries to give back and help those in need and they get stocked by the community.

Best practice is to stock these mini pantries with non-perishable foods or items that are appreciated, such as: canned foods, bottled water, and of course personal items like socks, toilet tissue, hand soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby wipes and any toiletries.
