T-mobile Rendering Multiple Phones Useless By 1/29/21
T-moible has announced that multiple phones won't be able to connect or use the T-mobile network at the end of this month.
So far T-mobile is saying due to a network update close to 20 different devices will not be able to receive the update needed to stay connected to the network.
According to the announcement on a support page;
“As a result of a network update going into place on 1/29/2021, we identified a small number of older devices that are not able to receive a manufacturer software update and as a result, these devices will be unable to establish a network connection,” the document reads. “T-Mobile and Metro customers utilizing these older devices will lose all network connectivity if they do not replace their device.”
Now keep in mind this will only effect Android phones, and these are also considered older phones in the upgrade every two year market that we live in, on another note... Apple is off the hook, this time.
