Could Maine Taco Bell Locations Soon Serve Adult Beverages?

Just before the pandemic turned the world upside down, Taco Bell started rolling out a new concept for their restaurants.  The Taco Bell Cantina was a combination Taco Bell restaurant and bar.

Instead of just stopping by a Taco Bell on the way home from the bar, you can make a whole (or, at least a part) of the night at the Taco Bell Cantina.  Yes, instead of being a post party spot, Taco Bell Cantinas aim to be THE party spot!

It appears that the first of these unique concept Taco Bells opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 2017.

From the looks of it, these Taco Bell Cantinas have all of the normal Taco Bell options like chulupas, chicken quesadilla, soft tacos, burritos, etc.  They also sell a selection of beer and wine.  And, they also sell alcohol infused versions of their freeze drinks.

By 2023, there were dozens of Taco Bell Cantina locations across the country.

But, what about Maine?  So far, it does not look like there are any of these Taco Bell Cantinas in New England.  No, not even in Boston!  The closest location to us is in New York City.

There is some good news, though.  It appears that Taco Bell is increasing the number of open cantina locations.  In fact, we are hearing that Upstate New York could soon get its first Taco Bell Cantina location.

If the organization keeps expanding, it should not be long before Maine sees its first Taco Bell Cantina location.  Where will it be?  Who knows?  We can guess that the first location will probably be somewhere in the Portland area, but who knows.
