Main Street Grocery recently added a mini-food pantry to help battle hunger in the midcoast.

The Washington Post recently recognized Damariscotta as the ideal Midcoast Maine destination. Here's what they loved and what a local loves!

Everyone knows there's no better way to fight a cold or the flu than with a steamy bowl of chicken soup. That's why one Maine pub is giving it away to those who are feeling the effects of the flu.

It's pumpkin season in Maine. There's pumpkin coffee, pumpkin ale, pumpkin pie and pumpkin festivals to checkout throughout New England. According to Yankee Magazine, we have one of New England's best pumpkin festival right here in central Maine.

It looks like the weather will be perfect this weekend for the 13th annual Pemaquid Oyster Festival. It's an annual celebration of the working waterfront and the Damariscotta River where the Pemaquid oyster is farmed.

This morning (April 21) a vehicle crashed into the Rite Aid on Main St. in Damariscotta. The accident happened around 10:15 am and caused extensive damage to the building and the car. No one was injured.

If you've never been to the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest, you missed out again this year! It was so much fun! You need to watch the giant pumpkins that have been carved out to become boats! The races always come down to the wire! And when Larry and Don yell "Ready? Set?
