The website Thrillist.com did a story on 'The 5 Best Things About Every New England State'. Let's checkout what the five things they choose as the best things about Maine.

1. Beaches
2. Acadia National Park
3. Lobster Pounds
4. Portland
5. Islands

While I can't really argue about their list, I think Maine has many more things going for it that I would have added to my five best things list. I would have added the Portland Sea Dogs, our lakes, L.L.Bean, a certain country radio station.
