The Opry Hunt is an annual tradition for country musicians. They head out in the woods together and hunt ducks like one big happy family. Over the years many artists have joined in on the hunt including, Craig Morgan, Blake Shelton, and Montgomery Gentry. This year featured a somber feeling in the air as it was the first year Troy Gentry was absent since his passing in 2017.

This year, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Chris Janson, Marty Rue of Diamond Rio, and John Conley headed out to their hunting grounds. But it was obvious the huntsmen were dearly missing their companion so they commemorated him in a way they say he would have loved.

In the photo posted below you can clearly see a logo etched onto the side of their deer stand. That logo just so happens to belong to Troy Gentry's favorite superhero, Batman, and the Deer stand just so happens to be Troy Gentry's Favorite deer stand. A fitting symbol to remember a lost friend.
