Call it dumb luck, an act of God, or whatever else you want, on Friday night, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship rescued two men who were stranded at sea for 20 days in a small fishing boat between Jamaica and Grand Cayman. The men were running low on food and water, but there was no ship in sight to help them.

The only reason they were on that course was because of the weather. Royal Caribbean's chief meteorologist James Van Fleet said the ship took a detour from its normal itinerary due to poor weather and would have not located the castaways otherwise.

The men on the sail boat had just enough food to last them that long, to the point that all they needed when rescued was some water, and rest, no injuries were reported.
