We Purposely Carved Our Accidentally Grown Pumpkins: PHOTOS

You read that right; my family accidentally grew a pumpkin; well, technically, we developed three pumpkins. If you're new here, you may not know how we accidentally grew pumpkins, so ill give you a little back story.

Now, I didn't even know you could accidentally grow something, well, other than mold on items that have sat around far too long. I never in a million years expected to produce a Pumpkin, let alone 3.

In the fall of 2020, my family sat down and carved pumpkins, my husband, daughter, and I did a traditional type jack o lantern, but my son wanted his to be different, so he left the pumpkin guts hanging out of its pumpkin mouth as if it had gotten sick.

Fast forward to spring of 2021, and we noticed a new plant peeking thru the soil in our yard. That little plant would soon grow into a vine, and I must say it was a pretty fantastic feeling to watch something grow without any extra love and attention.

In the end, we only ended up with two homegrown pumpkins, which we took the time and carved this weekend, and of course, we bought two more, so we each had one to cut. You can check out our Masterpieces below!
