When you think boxing and Lewiston, many think of Classius Clay versus Sonny Liston and the phantom punch in 1965. My Dad was actually at that fight! Well, boxing is back in Lewiston on October 11th.

NEF announced an eight-bout card at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Saturday, October 11, 2014. It's the first pro boxing event in Lewiston in more than ten years.

West Forks boxer, Brandon 'The Cannon' Berry, takes on Eric Palmer from Pittsburgh. Berry is (7-0) and he is taking on Palmer in a six round bout for the Northeast Junior Welterweight title.

The co-main event will feature Lewiston's own Stevie Gamache taking on Damon Antoine. Stevie is the son of former champion Joey Gamache.

More Mainers are featured on the card as well. Bruce Boyington of Brewer faces Windham's Nate Charles and light heavyweight John Webster of Portland is also on the card.

Ticket are available right now.
