Winter West Festival 2013 is This Saturday in Westbrook

Winter in Maine means fun outdoors. We have great skiing, snowmobling, ice fishing, sliding and even snowball fights and making snowmen! This weekend there's a great event for the whole family in Westbrook. It's the Winter West Festival.It begins tonight at 6 pm with a bonfire and family skate event. Saturday will feature a pancake breakfast from 8 am to 10 am. At 11am there's a 5k fun run and polar plunge! There will be dog sled races, horse and wagon rides, a snow queen tea and dance party and family fun time.

Saturday will also feature snow sculptures all day along with a 3 on 3 hockey tournament. Saturday night will feature dining in the downtown and entertainment! The weekend wraps up on Sunday with more sled dog races.

Don't let cabin fever settle in, pack up the kids and take the hour drive south and enjoy Winter West Festival 2013!
