Coats For Kids Campaign is underway here in Central Maine. With the colder temps comes the need for warm coats, hats and mittens. Your outgrown outerwear can be the difference in a child's winter. PrattAbbot Cleaners receives the donated items, cleans them and the Salvation Army distributes them.

The Weather Channel is reporting that Siberia is seeing major snow and that could be an omen of a very cold winter for us in the United States.

Buffalo, New York had a 'bit' of a cold spell in the area the other day. Hard to explain how cold it got but this picture is worth a thousand words.

Last year was not a banner year for snow lovers in Maine. This winter, which is only 9 days old so far, has dumped another 6 to 8 inches of snow in central Maine. That follows the 10 inches of snow we received on Thursday.
