Time Warner and Cumberland County Civic Center Reach Deal [UPDATED]

A few weeks ago, it was looking like the Cumberland County Civic Center and Time Warner Cable might not reach an agreement to air the Class A High Basketball Championship games on  Maine Public Broadcasting Network. The dispute centered around Time Warner's cable link in the civic center, which was removed during the civic center renovations.The two side have reached a three-year agreement that will give Time Warner access to the Cumberland County Civic Center and allow broadcasts of high school basketball championship games.

The Class A championship games are on March 1, 2014. Tournament coverage from the Augusta Civic Center, The Cross Insurance Center in Bangor and the Cumberland County Civic Center begin on February 19, 2014.
