Gov. LePage is taking some time off from the campaign trail this weekend to open up his home for the 4th annual Blaine House food drive. Mainers are invited to drop off non-perishable goods and get a tour of the Blaine House in Augusta from the governor between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. The food drive at the Blaine House will also be held on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1. Donations will be sent to the Good Shepherd Food Bank for distribution  Last year, Maine residents gave nearly 2,000 pounds of food to pantries and shelters across the state.
