I started working at B98.5 on August 20, 2000 and that November we started the Tanksgiving Food Drive. It was the idea of then morning show co-host Genny Judge. It's hard to believe that we are already doing the 16th Annual Tanksgiving Food Drive!

The event has evolved throughout the year but the one thing that has remained steadfast is the generousity of our listeners and the people of central Maine. Another thing that hasn't changed is that 100 percent of the food and money that we collect stays right here in central Maine, helping your friends and neighbors.

Here's where we will be for this years Tanksgiving:

Monday, November 7th:

Walmart in Augusta (9:30-4) with the Kennebec County Sheriff's Department.
Shaw's in Waterville (9:30-4) with the Waterville Fire Department

Tuesday, November 8th:

Goggin's IGA in Randolph (10-4) with the Randolph Fire Chief
George's Banana Stand in Skowhegan (10-4) with the Skowhegan Fire Department

Wednesday, November 9th:

Shaw's in Augusta (10-7) with the Augusta Fire Department
Shaw's in Waterville (Noon-7) with the Waterville Fire Department

Thursday, November 10th:

Walmart in Augusta (9:30-4) with the Kennebec County Sheriff's Dept.
Walmart in Farmington (9-4) with the Franklin County Sheriff's Dept.

Thursday, November 10th we invited the public to join us at the radio station between 5 and 7 p.m. to drop off any donations that your group might have been collecting for Tanksgiving and to give you a quick tour of the radio station.
