And If Things Weren’t Bad Enough…School Funds Were Stolen!

With all the bad news of government shutdowns and no jobs...this just put the icing on the cake!

The Winslow High School Wrestling Team had its money STOLEN!

Oh no!

The account should have had thousands of dollars in it and now has less than $100.

This happened to my Class of 1992 from Lawrence High School. We had no money for a reunion and had to come up with the cash ourselves. THOUSANDS were stolen and after the person was caught, we were never repaid.

I feel for the Winslow wrestling team. It's sad that it has to come down to stealing from a charity. These kids work so hard for everything they have and now it's been squandered away by someone else...the worst part is it is someone that they KNOW!

I hope they are able to recoup all the money.
