So far, the spring of 2020 has been strange, and not just because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The temperatures seem to be way off this year.  Normally, by the middle of May, we've had at least a few steamy days.  So far, this year, no-so-much.  I can count the 65+ degree days on one hand.

It looks like that might be about to change, though.

According to the National Weather Service, we could be kicking off the Memorial Day weekend with a mini-heatwave.

The temp on Wednesday will reach the mid-60s.  On Thursday, we'll hit the low 70s.  And, on Friday, Central Maine could see sunny skies and a high temperature somewhere near the low 80s!

At this point, it looks like Saturday and Sunday will be cooler than Friday, with highs in the mid-60s

Clearly, it is the beginning of the week, and a lot can change in the next four days.  So, who knows?  There's a chance we could end up seeing chilly temps this weekend, or we could see Friday's temperatures extend into the weekend.
