The City of Augusta is currently in search of the next Augusta City Manager. This is a process that both the Mayor of Augusta and the Augusta City Council welcome private citizens, as well as local businesses and organizations to offer comment and suggestions on.

There is a public meeting that is going to be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, which is located at 16 Cony Street, Augusta, ME.

Public comment is also welcome in regards to the qualities, education, background and experience that the new City Manager should possess to meet the challenges Augusta faces in the near future.

The hope is at this meeting information will be gathered and recorded on what the community feels are the major issues and obstacles that Augusta may have to deal with in the next 5 years.

The Mayor and City Council welcome and also encourages the public attendance at this meeting and value the opinions you may have on these matters.

If for whatever reason you are not able to attend you can simply email your thoughts and comments to dgerrish@eatonpeabody.com.
