
Maine DEA Makes Big Drug Bust in Central Maine
According to a press release from the Maine Department of Public Safety's Shannon Moss, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency recently made a big drug bust in Winslow.
The press release explains that:
MDEA Agents and the Winslow Police Department have been investigating drug trafficking in the Town of Winslow. For the past several months, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency South Central DTF and the Winslow Police Department have been conducting a joint investigation into the sale of cocaine and fentanyl from a Winslow residence.
On July 1st, they were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence of Brian Gleason, of Winslow.
Gleason was arrested during a traffic stop and a search of his residence uncovered 505 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of fentanyl, over $2000 in suspected drug proceeds and a loaded .38 handgun.
The press release explains that the estimated street value of the cocaine is $62,500 and the estimated street value of the fentanyl is $1400.
During the incident, 38-year-old Brian Gleason, of Winslow, was arrested and charged with 1 count of Aggravated Drug Trafficking class A.

Also arrested was Milciades Diaz-Soto, 34, of Charlestown, Massachusetts. Diaz-Soto has been charged with 1 count Aggravated Drug Trafficking class A
