Have you ever stumbled upon something totally unexpected?

You know that one thing you find in life makes you feel like you hit the jackpot. You found the hidden treasure even though you didn't have a treasure map or the fact that you found said object doing a mundane chore.

Well, that's exactly what happened to Laurie Murphy of Richmond.

According to a Facebook post made by Laurie Murphy in the Facebook group Richmond Friends and Families, Laurie was cleaning up her yard of pesky bamboo when she stumbled upon an unexpected treasure.

What was the treasure?

Well, Laurie found a few ancient glass bottles with "E. A. Mansir Druggist" molded into the side of the bottle. After finding these neat bottles, Laurie got curious, so she turned to the town's Facebook group to see if anyone else may have known more about who E. A. Mansir was.

Found a couple of druggist bottles while battling bamboo. Wondering if anyone, or anyone’s grandparents, has a memory of E. A. Mansir, Druggist? There is a reference to this man in the 1893 Richmond Town Report. - Laurie Murphy

Some members of the group had their opinions of where these bottles originated but no definite answer. Another member was more curious about the bamboo removal and if Laurie had any secrets to successfully removing it. Lol.
