When you think about comfort foods you probably don't have to go too far down the list to get to Mac n' Cheese. Let's face it, it's a staple for so many people. Now some people make their own version with everything under the sun, others may opt for the box version of which there is so many brands to choose from. Personally, I like both. I will indulge in a lil home made goodness, but I'm not opposed to grabbing a box from the pantry for a quick fix.

Not much has been new in this segment that has caught my attention for ages...that is until now. Apparently this weekend, Cheetos, yes the cheesy snack food from the chip isle is getting together with pasta and introducing New Cheetos Mac n Cheese with three new flavors to tickle your taste buds.

Be on the look out for Cheetos Bold & Cheesy, Flamin' Hot and Cheesy Jalapeno flavored Mac n Cheese. Apparently this is going to be an exclusive deal with Walmart to start, both in stores and online. According to a report by Delish.com the plans are to expand nationwide to multiple retailers by 2021.

The maker of the new mac n cheese is PepsiCo, who also owns the brand Quaker, which has a line of boxed pastas in numerous flavors, so the match is not completely a shot from left field. Apparently they hope to capitalize on new consumer habits that since the pandemic began, more and more people are eating at home much more then they have in the past.

If you try it before I do...let me know how it is.
