Check Out This 66 Acre Nature Center In Camden
It’s a sure sign of spring! Merryspring Nature Center is having its annual Spring Plant Sale May 14 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and May 15 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a popular fundraiser that helps support the nature center, which is located on 66 acres at 30 Conway Road in Camden, Maine.
According to their website they will have a variety of plants for sale including both annuals and perennials. Also for sale will be various vegetable seedlings!
The flowers include favorites such as impatiens and petunias (which must be hardy because even my wife can’t kill them). They will also have everything from begonias to snapdragons, which are one of my favorites.
In addition to flowers and seedlings they will be selling cedar benches. You can place your order while your shop the flowers. And did I mention the herbs for sale? It will be a gardeners dream come true all for a great cause. So take that drive down to the Midcoast and get your spring planting groove on!

To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here.
