Luke Bryan says there’s no chance of him lipsyncing his Super Bowl LI National Anthem performance because he’ll be singing a cappella. Bryant says he’ll do it a cappella, so there’s no way to for a disaster. He says the only disaster would be if he came down with the flu Saturday night. Previously, when his performance was announced, Bryan said that he is so excited to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in 2017. It will be his first time performing during Super Bowl festivities.

If you walked by a guitar-playing guy with long blond hair on Wednesday in Nashville’s Lower Broadway area, you might have walked by country superstar Keith Urban in disguise. The singer was recording a short video, singing his hit ‘Wasted Time,’ while wearing a wig and a black baseball cap.  Urban said they were just doing something a little crazy on the streets Nashville and he made $8. Urban’s video is specifically part of the annual Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces of Country Music show; the conference is scheduled to take place Feb. 22-24 in Nashville. And it seems Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton are up to a few tricks for CRS as well.

Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A is set to get a $500,000 facelift that will turn back the hands of time to show what the space looked like in the 1960s. The portion of the Studio A building that houses its recording studios will remain unchanged, but the other half of the building, which includes offices, a co-working space and a smaller studio, will be renovated to recall the studio’s heyday. During that time period, RCA Studio A was run by Chet Atkins and Owen Bradley and produced recordings from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Charlie Pride and many more.
