Crews Respond to Burning Tractor Trailer Truck in Vassalboro

According to a post from the Vassalboro Fire Department's Facebook page, the department responded to a tractor trailer fire on Nelson Road in Vassalboro yesterday morning.

The call for help came in at around 10:30 Monday morning. The fire was burning as the truck was parked in a driveway.

VFD says that upon their arrival the 18-wheeler was fully involved with some nearby 'exposures' that they say did include a mobile home trailer.

Vassalboro was able to get the blaze under control quickly while saving the nearby home and the trailer attached to the truck.
