Gift-giving is one of my many love languages. There is just something about seeing friends, family, and even strangers smile that makes any day a better day. I'd much rather be the one giving gifts than receiving them, but it sure is a sweet surprise to walk into work and see surprises waiting for me on my desk.

One of the best and most unexpected parts of this job is the amount of love my coworkers share for one another. As a team, we are there to uplift each other up on our hardest days, celebrate birthdays, make one another laugh, and we are that team that leaves surprise gifts.

When I accepted this position, I had no idea the amount of love and inspiration I would receive, but I have to say it's one of my top 3 favorite things about my job. My coworkers are my people! So, a big thank you to my anonymous co-worker for my lovely surprise!

I encourage you to take time today and spread a little cheer to someone special in your life. It doesn't need to be expensive, it could be a cup of coffee for your best friend or co-worker, or it could be something as simple as holding the door for a stranger. The smallest act of kindness is sometimes just what the person on the receiving end needs.
