Easter is Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Christ. It's also a time to celebrate spring and the Easter bunny.

This year (2018) Easter fall on April 1 but this is one holiday that moves around from date to date.

Easter Sunday related celebrations like Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday are movable too with Easter falling between March 22 and April 25.

Why such a difference in dates? I'll tell you.

According to catholic.com Easter Sunday always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the first day of spring. Not too hard but this is a little easier.

March 20, 2018 is the first day of spring, the first full moon is on March 31. That makes Easter this year on Sunday, April 1.
