Girbraltar Ships Monkeys to Scotland
The small country of Gibraltar has sent 30 of its most unruly monkey’s to Scotland to live in a safari park there. The country has about 200 macaque monkeys and they are a tourist attraction, but the 30 that were rounded up and shipped out were considered the worst of them all.
The monkeys have started going into town looting and searching for food scaring the locals so the 30 were tagged with GPS collars and monitored to see how far and where they would go. Over a three week period the monkeys were rounded up and flown to Scotland so they can be looked over by experienced keepers.
