Happy International Left-Handers Day!

I am not a lefty myself, but my husband is ambidextrous, and our son is left-handed. So, I thought it might be fun to share a few fun facts about the left-handers and all their uniqueness. After all, today is all about them!

Everything in the life of a lefty is different, from learning to write without smudging the ink across the paper to needing special left-handed scissors. It's not all bad though some of the most successful and creative people have been left-handed.

Here are a few additional fun facts about Left-Handers

  1. Left-Handers Day was first observed in 1976 by a man named Dean R. Campbell.
  2. Those who are left-handed use the right side of their brain more often, resulting in  creative and artistic
  3. Mothers over the age of 40 are twice as likely to have a left-handed child.
  4. Men are more likely to be a leftie then women.

Are you left-handed? Did you struggle with certain everyday activities that right-handers don't?
