Healthy Communities Of The Capital Area Host Cabin Fever Challenge
Getting out of the house is so important when it comes to your mental well being. Doing so during the winter months can be a challenge here in Maine. Add a pandemic into the mix, and cabin fever is easier to catch than ever.
If you're looking to have a little fun and beat cabin fever, Healthy Communities of the Capital Area hosts a Virtual Cabin Fever Challenge.
Here is how it works...
Starting today, February 5th, and going through February 7th, get outside and enjoy the outdoors while staying active. Whether it's snowshoeing, sledding, skiing, or just playing in the snow with your kids, it can be anything as long as you're outdoors enjoying the weather. Snap a picture while you're enjoying and then post it to your Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #HCCACabinFeverChallenge. Each photo that you share and hashtag will be one entry into a drawing. The more photos you tag, the more entries you'll receive. Then, on Monday, February 8th 3 winners will be chosen via Facebook live at 12 pm.
