After what might have been one of our best Fourth of July weekends to date, we just didn't want it to end. We spent time with family and friends, had multiple barbeques, watched a fantastic fireworks display, and got some much-needed relaxation.

We did know that we couldn't end the holiday weekend and kick off the month of July without getting Ice Cream, I mean it is National Ice Cream month after all. So, I called up our favorite local Ice cream parlor, The Ice Cream Shoppe in Randolph to get the down-low on their dole flavors of the week.

Unfamiliar with Dole Ice Cream? Dole Ice Cream is a water-based ice cream alternative that is lactose-free. Being someone who stays as far away from dairy as possible, Dole has been a saving grace when I just want a nice cold treat. The Ice Cream Shoppe is great about rotating two different flavors each week, I've had the chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, black raspberry, and my favorite coffee. But, they also offer other flavors such as lemon, lime, and coconut, I'm just not a fan of those flavors in general.

We visit so often I'm pretty sure they know it's me by now, I mean I only call every week to see what their new flavors are. This time when I called, though, I was pleasantly surprised when the lady on the other end of the line informed me that they are now offering more dairy-free and vegan options.

New Vegan Options

Cookies & Cream

Chocolate Chunk

Vanilla Bean

Finding out that they are now offering Vegan options is a total game-changer, so we got in the car and drove as fast as we safely could because the Vegan Cookies and Cream was just calling my name.

I honestly don't even know how to give it the justice it deserves, HANDS DOWN THE MOST DELICIOUS ICE CREAM I HAVE EVER HAD! The texture was a mixture of cookie dough and a fudge brownie batter, way too good.

So if you're looking for a plant-based ice cream option, I highly recommend checking out the Ice Cream Shoppes new Vegan flavors.
