Ice Festival Coming to Lewiston Feb. 22-24

A new event is coming next month to Lewiston. An Ice Festival will be held at Fountain Park in Lewiston on February 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The festival will feature three ice bars, plenty of food, live music and a 8-foot-tall Sasquatch ice sculpture!

Fountain Park is in the Bates Mill Complex on Mill Street in Lewiston.  Proceeds of the three day event will benefit L/A Arts. Many local restaurants plan to prepare food for the festival that will also feature three 8-foot-long bars with bartenders serving up drinks, featuring Maine beers, wine and a martini bar.

There will be live music with the Three Point Jazz Trio and plenty of ice sculptures, including a Sasquatch and a life-sized Vespa scooter.

Events are scheduled from 5 pm to 9 pm on February 22 and 23, and Sunday the 24th from 11 am to 2 pm. Evening events are for 21 and older. The Sunday events will feature a free admission.
