Maine's annual Wild Blueberry Weekend returns August 1st–2nd, and it's one of those events that perfectly captures everything we love about summer in Maine.

This isn't just about filling a bucket with blueberries although, let's be honest, you'll probably leave with enough to make muffins for the next six months.

It's a statewide celebration of Maine's official state berry, with dozens of farms, restaurants, breweries, bakeries, and ice cream shops joining in on the fun.
