Fair season in Maine is here! Join B-98.5 for the opening day at the Skowhegan State Fair, this Thursday, August 8th. The B-98.5 Great Country Quest finals will be going on Thursday night starting at 7. Your votes at b985.fm chose the final four bands.They are Buck T. Edwards, 43 North, The Allison Ames Band and Wildhorse.

The fair will 195th Skowhegan State Fair will take place from August 8 through August 17.

Enjoy the midway, truck and tractor pulls, livestock shows, bingo, the demolition derby, harness racing, the 4-H Horse show.

Great entertainment as well with plenty of local bands like Sharon Buck & Dixon Road, Emerald Sky, Borderline Express, Full Drive, Cold Blue Steel, Bad Penny and many more!

Plus have fun during the comedy night on August 12th with Krazy Jake and Birdie Goggins!

Not to mention all the fun carnival games and fair food!
