There’s an Amazing Indoor Water Park Hidden in the Mountains of New Hampshire
We are lucky to have some amazing water parks here in New England. But, because we live in New England, the season for these parks is typically very short. Most of them open about the middle of June and they are closed by Labor Day weekend.
There are times, mostly in the dead of winter, when you wish you could take the kids somewhere that feels summer-like. Somewhere that they can enjoy 80+ degree temperatures and splash around in the water, right?
Well, there is a place that the kids can do that right here in Northern New England. And, the place is open all year long.
Kahuna Laguna Water Park in New Hampshire
You'll find this massive water park at the Birchmont Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire.
Believe it or not, the park has been around for well over a decade. However, it did close briefly after a devastating fire that damaged the Red Jacket Resort (the former name of the Birchmont Resort) in April of 2022.
The park features several attractions including a wave pool, water slides, kiddy racers (smaller slides), and a 25-person hot tub.

There is even a play structure called Bamboo Bay. The website describes it as:
This multi-level adventure tower keeps everyone moving with water cannons, slides, a rope bridge, and a massive 175-gallon tipping bucket that sends a soaking surprise below.

One of the really cool things about the water park is that it is attached to a hotel. And, it is right on Route 16, AKA The Strip. That means you are no more than a few minutes' drive from shopping, restaurants, and more.
