Kristi’s First Radio Event

Hello! Kristi here.. I'm the new co host of Buzz and Kristi in the mornings on B98.5 and this past Saturday was my very first radio event!

The 2nd annual Fire and Ice festival really lived up to its name, the ice bar and live music drew a crowd, but it was the fire pits and propane heaters that really saved the evening. Thankfully I'm a local and knew just how bitter cold Maine can be this time of the year so I made sure to stock up on hand, body and foot warmers. LOL

At the start of the event I warmed up with very intense game of Connect Four, which I challenged our very own Quinn Alexander to. If you're curious.. Yes..I Won!  As the sun went down for the evening, a few of my coworkers and I bonded over making Smore's and man was it sweet.

Broadcasting live on the Radio is a dream come true and is my favorite part of the job. But, I'm fairly certain attending these live events will be a close second. My next event is with my co-host Buzz and we will be at the 2020 Augusta Boat Show this Friday March 6th from 4-7. Hope to see you there!
