Maine Restaurant Featured This Week On ‘Restaurant Impossible’

In May of this year, a crew from the Food Network program 'Restaurant Impossible' rolled into South Portland at overhaul Uncle Andy's Diner. We will all see the transformation this week when the show will air on the Food Network.

The episode which will air on Wednesday night at 10, then repeat Thursday at 1a.m., Wednesday, September 3 at 11 p.m., Thursday, September 4 at 2 a.m. and Saturday, September 6 at 2 p.m.

The episode is titled 'No Laughing Matter', because the owner of Uncle Andy's Diner, Dennis, is a stand-up comedian. Chef Robert Irvine will be frustrated with Dennis spending too much time telling jokes with his customers than paying attention to the quality of the food.
