One of my guilty pleasure television shows is 'Restaurant Impossible' with chef Robert Irvine on the Food Network. Here's a quick premise of the show. They select a restaurant that is struggling financially. Chef Irvine then has two days to transform the restaurant.

They have a $10,000 budget and he has a designer and head construction guy to lead the remodeling of the restaurant. Chef Irvine works with the cooks, wait staff and owners of the restaurant to go over the menu.

Along the way there is usually plenty of drama and then .. poof.. it's a success!

The 'reality show' will be rolling into Maine next month to tape an episode of 'Restaurant Impossible'. They will be working their magic at Uncle Andy's Diner in South Portland.
