According to a Facebook post made by MIKA's Awesome Afterschool & Summer Camp Programs, MIKA Manchester is hosting a Parent's Night Out to benefit Alexis Michaud.

You may recognize Alexis Michaud's name, as it has made its way throughout Central Maine in recent days. Who is Alexis?

Alexis is a 16-year-old of Manchester, Maine; she is a student and star athlete at Maranacook High School. Alexis was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Chordoma and will have surgery in the coming days.

Parent Night Out is happening Saturday, August 28th, from 5 to 9 pm at MIKA's Manchester location, 954 Western Ave, Manchester ME 04351. This event is $15 per child and is for children between the ages of 4 and 12.

What can your kids expect at parent's night out? Pizza, movies, snacks, tons, and tons of fun, all for a great cause, oh, and NO PARENTS!  What kid doesn't love a break from their parents?

All proceeds from Parent's Night Out will go directly to the Michaud Family for medical and travel expenses over the next few months.

Don't wait; spots are limited!
