According to the KJ, the Maine Department of Transportation recently posted video of the Beals Island Bridge.

The bridge, which connected Jonesport to Beals Island, was constructed in 1958.  Instead of continuing to maintain the aging bridge, it was decided that a new, $23 million bridge should be constructed next to it.  In a cool twist, the ribbons used in the 1958 opening of the old bridge were used in the Augusta 2020 opening of the new bridge.

Normally, construction crews would attempt to take down an old bridge in a less dramatic way.  But, occasionally, explosives are the best way to do the job.
