According to researches, a new simple blood test is now able to detect cancer in as little as 10 minutes as reported by Fox News.

This new test is able to spot small DNA fragments floating through veins and vessels that come from cancerous tumors.  During research the test was over 90% accurate in detecting cancer cells according to a professor at the University of Queensland.

The hope is this test can be done at the same time as routine blood work for cholesterol and glucose. Apparently the technique can also be used on tissue biopsies.

Experts say the the test is still in its early stages and it will be years before it can be used in a clinical setting on the general public.
