Sled Dog Races Coming to Eagle Lake January 19th + 20th

Winter in Maine and you immediately think of skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, ice fishing or in my case, hibernating! Here's something different that you can check out. It's the Irving Woodlands Mad Bomber Sled Dog Races.It's coming up the weekend on January 19th and 20th at Eagle Lake in Aroostook County. There will be two separate dog races. The Eagle Lake 100, is a 100 mile race and The Mad Bomber 30, a 30 mile race. Mushers from all over New England and Eastern Canada will be participating. So, bundle up the family and head about 170 miles north of Bangor and experience winter in Maine!
