Subway To Serve Up Meatless Meatballs Next Month

So who is jumping on the meatless, meat bandwagon next? Subway, that's who!

In a press release Subway said they have plans to test a new sub, called the Beyond Meatball Marinara. At first this meatless meatball will hit in 685 restaurants in the US and Canada, no word if Maine is on the test store list. But, if I find out one is, I'll pass it along. As it stands now, the test begins in September for a limited time, however they didn't say how long that period will be.

There is still much that hasn't been divulged, such as, how much the sub will cost or if it will replace the current meatball sub.
