Kennebec County Sheriff  Randall Liberty stopped by the radio station Tuesday afternoon and said how can we help with 'Tanksgiving'? He offered to have vehicles and officers to join in for the rest of the week.

He had heard that due to budget reasons the Maine Army National Guard could not take participate this year and they wanted to help out with the food drive.

They'll be stationed at Shaw's in Augusta with a Kennebec County Sheriff's Truck and a couple of officers on Wednesday from 9 until 4. Also, on Thursday they'll join us at Walmart in Augusta from 9 until 4.

Everybody here at the radio want to thank Sheriff Liberty and the men and women of the Kennebec County Sheriff's Department for being part of 'Tanksgiving'!
