The Navy SEALs are taking on the Summit to Sunshine Challenge this Thursday. The event is a reverse triathlon to raise funds and awareness for Camp Sunshine, a camp for children with life-threatening illnesses.

The event includes a 7.6-mile run down the Mt. Washington Auto Road, an 83.4-mile bicycle ride through Oxford County and a 3.9-mile swim across part of Sebago Lake.

Eight active-duty Navy SEALs will take part in this year's event. Last year four Navy SEALs raised  more than $80,000 for Camp Sunshine.
